Bagi para pelabur emas di Malaysia laman web http://jutawanemas.com tidak asing lagi bagi mendapatkan informasi mengenai pelaburan emas untuk pelabur bijak di Malaysia. En Syukor Hashim bermula seperti pekerja swasta yang lain. Memulakan kerjayanya sebagai pengawai pentadbiran pada 2002 di MMU ( Multimedia Universiti Cyberjaya) dan pada dipindahkan ke Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar (HEP) di MMU Melaka pada 2003. Setelah memerah keringat di HEP MMU maka pada 2005 beliau telibat dengan satu program pameran tentang dinar emas, dari situlah beliau mula jatuh cinta terhadap emas.

Keinginan beliau untuk mendalami ilmu tentang emas terus membara namum beliau dapati amat kurang buku di bawah topik emas ataupun pelaburan emas.Maka timbullah hasrat beliau untuk berkongsi ilmu yang beliau telah buat kajian dengan membeli beberapa buah buku dari luar Negara melalui Amazon.com.Ilmu yang beliau telah korek dikongsikan melalui blog beliau tanpa mengharapkan pendapatan dari blog tersebut.Semua ilmu yang dikongsikan adalah atas minat beliau untuk berkongsi kebaikan pelaburan emas. Salah satu buku yang beliau jadikan rujukan pada awal penglibatan dalam menghasilkan content pelaburan emas adalah ABC Guide for Gold Investing.

Menurut pengasas web jutawanemas En Syukor Hashim, sebelum beliau melibatkan diri dalam perunding pelaburan emas, beliau telah mencuba pelbagai MLM mahupun skim cepat kaya bagi menambah pendapatan. Namun banyak skim yang ditawarkan adalah tidak menjamin masa depan dan lebih menjurus kepada unsur penipuan.

Pada jun 2008 laman jutawanemas.com diasaskan. Laman ini asasnya memaparkan pelbagai informasi neutral  mengenai pelaburan emas di Malaysia. Para pembaca menjadikan laman ini sebagai sumber informasi untuk pelaburan emas di Malaysia.

Selepas 3 bulan menulis blog berkaitan emas pada bulan Ogos 2008, pengasas laman web jutawanemas telah dihubungi oleh sebuah syarikat yang mengeluarkan jongkong emas. Pihak syarikat tersebut menemui laman web jutawanemas melalui enjin carian Google.Melihat kepada sambutan pembaca dan penyenaraian laman web tersebut teratas dalam carian emas di Google, maka pihak syarikat menyatakan hasrat mereka agar En Syukor menjadi jurucakap kepada produk mereka.Namun disebabkan kesibukan sebagai pengurus hal ehwal pelajar di MMU maka beliau hanya dapat menemui pihak syarikat emas tersebut pada bulan Oktober 2008.

Setelah membuat penyelidikan dan kajian terhadap syarikat tersebut, En Syukor mendapati syarikat tersebut adalah syarikat tulin yang menjalankan perniagaan penghasilan emas.Seperti biasa beliau menuliskan hasil penyelidikan dan kajian beliau di blog jutawanemas.Beliau terus memberikan informasi hasil pemerhatian dan informasi mengenai syarikat tersebut.Seterusnya para pembaca boleh membuat pilihan sendiri berdasarkan informasi yang diberikan.Syarikat yang dimaksudkan adalah Public Gold yang berpangkalan di Pulau Pinang.

Syarikat mendapat banyak rujukan pembelian dari laman web jutawanemas.com.Maka pihak Public Gold telah menawarkan kepada En.Syukor untuk memberikan ceramah mengenai produk mereka.En Syukor telah mengambil cuti selama seminggu untuk memulakan tugasan baru beliau sebagai jurucakap produk emas Public Gold.

Sambutan yang diterima amat menggalakkan yang mana satu sessi ceramah dihadiri oleh 20 hingga 40 orang peserta. Natijahnya En Syukor terpaksa memohon lebih cuti hingga kehabisan cuti lagi yang boleh dipohon.

Model perniagaan yang mudah dan terus memudahkan beliau menjadikan sesiapa yang berminat untuk menjadi  pengedar. Bermula dengan menulis blog kini beliau menjadi ikon utama dalam persada pelaburan emas di Malaysia.

Dari Content ke pendapatan itulah yang dikatakan berkongsi dengan penuh keghairahan akan mendapat kepercayaan dari para pembaca. Salam sejahtera kepada semua, saya Hazmin dari Yeayyy Sdn Bhd. Sejarah saya ingin menceburi industri kandungan kreatif bermula pada tahun 2007 di mana pensyarah untuk Latihan Industri saya, Dr Sazilah Salam memberitahu beliau sedang membuat penyelidikan mengenai Mobile Learning dan menyatakan sesiapa yang ingin menjadikannya sebagai penyelia untuk Projek Sarjana Muda, perlu membuat projek yang melibatkan Mobile Learning. Secara kebetulan, pada waktu itu juga, pertandingan Mobile Content Challenge dianjurkan buat kali pertama dan Dr Sazilah telah meminta semua pelajar di bawahnya untuk menyertai pertandingan berkenaan dan projek saya terpilih sebagai finalist. Kumpulan yang terpilih sebagai finalist perlu menghadiri kursus Incub8 di mana kami telah diberikan mentor daripada syarikat LTT Global Sdn Bhd yang telah lama terlibat dalam Mobile Learning sejak 2004. Kursus Incub8 berkenaan telah membuka mata saya mengenai peluang yang terdapat dalam industri mobile content. Dalam pertandingan berkenaan, projek saya yang diberi nama Kids Cashier telah mendapat tempat kedua dan memenangi wang tunai sebanyak RM20,000. Sebagai seorang pelajar, hadiah berkenaan boleh dikatakan sangat lumayan kerana duit pinjaman PTPTN yang diperoleh pada setiap semester hanya sekitar RM1,500 (untuk pelajar Diploma) dan RM2,000 (untuk pelajar Ijazah Sarjana Muda).

Tempat kedua Mobile Content Challenge 2007

Selepas pertandingan berkenaan, saya banyak menghadiri kursus, seminar, conference yang berkaitan dengan mobile. Peluang ini membolehkan saya berkenalan dengan pemain-pemain industri dan meluaskan networking. Pada tahun 2008, saya menyertai pertandingan IP Creator Challenge anjuran MDeC. Nasib sekali lagi menyebelahi saya apabila proposal projek saya yang diberi nama Jawi Fun telah diumumkan sebagai pemenang dan diberikan grant sebanyak RM50,000. Pertandingan IPCC berbeza dengan MCC kerana peserta tidak perlu menyediakan prototaip lengkap untuk menyertainya. Peserta hanya perlu present proposal masing-masing pada pitching day dan juri akan memilih 5 proposal terbaik sebagai pemenang.

Juara kategori Mobile Edutainment - MSC IP Creator Challenge 2008

Walaupun telah memenangi RM70,000 daripada dua pertandingan, saya masih belum bersedia untuk memulakan perniagaan sendiri kerana duit hadiah berkenaan perlu dibahagi dengan rakan. Oleh itu, saya telah menyertai kursus Creative Technopreneur Academy Program di Melaka. Dalam kursus ini, peserta akan diberikan bimbingan langkah demi langkah untuk mendapatkan grant MDeC Preseed Fund yang bernilai RM150,000. Cabaran yang sebenarnya bermula di sini kerana sebelum ini, laluan dalam pertandingan yang saya sertai dilihat agak mudah. Namun, untuk grant Preseed ini, 3 proposal awal yang dihantar telah gagal untuk meyakinkan panel penilai. Oleh kerana saya pernah menang, maka saya tidak mudah berputus asa walaupun telah gagal sebanyak 3 kali. Akhirnya cubaan yang keempat telah berjaya dan tertubuhlah Yeayyy Sdn Bhd pada 2 Februari 2010.

 Sebagai graduan dalam Sains Komputer, bidang perniagaan adalah sesuatu yang amat asing bagi saya. Bayangkan sebagai seorang CEO sebuah syarikat, saya tidak tahu bagaimana untuk menulis Quotation, Invoice, Purchase Order dan Delivery Order. Namun saya bernasib baik kerana pengajar ketika kursus Creative Technopreneur Academy Program, Encik Rik sudi menjadi mentor kepada saya dan membenarkan saya menyewa sedikit ruang pejabatnya di Bandar Baru Bangi untuk operasi syarikat. 

 Saya sendiri tidak pasti adakah saya mampu untuk bertahan pada 5 tahun pertama kerana duit grant daripada MDeC hanya boleh bertahan selama 1 tahun sahaja. Ramai yang beranggapan usahawan yang memulakan perniagaan melalui pembiayaan grant tidak akan bertahan lama. Oleh itu, saya perlu berusaha dengan gigih untuk memastikan bahawa saya tidak termasuk dalam statistik mereka yang gagal setelah tamat tempoh projek yang grant.

Since I was small, I already been exposed to the small business by my family. During my study at University, I run printing service and car rental. It turn out the car rental service become a moving ‘room’ for certain desperate couple at MMU Cyberjaya. Their port will be Taman Tasik Cyberjaya parking. LOL. After graduating, I was working with MiTV and ASTRO. I love to be in Broadcast industry. It just that after 5 years in this industry, I feel that I need to stop and making my own move.

Talking about role model in business is actually I do admire all successful businessman. I don’t really have a specific role model.

Xadira™ is startup based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We targeting to develops high-quality social games on networks like Facebook. We also believe in Social Game, players can share their emotions with friends, family and other people around them. We also want to give players, a new level of user experience by playing our game. Our Technology not really sound like a Rocket Science. Currently we just using PHP, Facebook API and Adobe Flash in our product development.

What I targeting for the company in 5 years is I hope we can be top Social Game developer and publisher in Asia. When we strong enough, we targeting to have our brand and office at US, Europe and Australia. Well to get content idea is you have to have a team. You need to brainstorm and polish the idea. One brain is not as good as two brain or more.

My advise for wannabe Contentprenuer? Actually I also a Contenpreneur wannabe, can somebody please advise me? LOL.Ok, maybe you guys just don’t give up not only when you are contentpreneur, in what ever you do in your life. Yes the journey will not as easy for some people. Just on hold to your faith, Insya Allah success is waiting for you. God speed!

Rahsia Pemasaran Facebook

Well, I believe I have the DNA gene of entrepreneurship since I was born. I was in Standard 4 when I first started to sell nasik lemak at my school canteen. And of course I was chased out of the canteen afterthat! When I took my degree in 1999, I was selling hotdogs and cigarette. Now this was a very profiting business as I was earning more than 1k per month; taking into account that I’m not a smoker J. After graduating, I worked for various agencies and K-Economy Melaka was the last one. I left K-Economy and started my own biz in system development and designing. At times I wish I had left my previous job earlier. It had somehow suck my energy and effort big time. But God has other plan for me.

Talking about role model…ermmmm…let me see….ah it’s definitely Richard Branson!! I like his attitude and the ”go to hell with what other people think and just do the damn thing!” motto. J

MyPotPet falls under the social preneur category where making profit is the second objective. The idea behind MyPotPet is to get people, especially younger generations, value the existence of other creature, well in this case its those endangered species.

To be honest, it’s more than that. It’s how we see the nature, how we want to preserve them, understanding the threats and challenges that they have to overcome in order just to keep alive. Awareness is just a part of it, and the other is taking action.

By participating in MyPotPet, they will literally learn about this endangered species, the nature, habitat, social life and so on. For me, Facebook game is one way to approach people. In Malaysia, there are about 6,484,900 people who are an active facebook user. If we take 1% of that amount as those who play MyPotPet, we are looking at 64849 potential customers.

In business, If you have a database of 60,000 customers, you can literally survive. And bear in mind that the number is just for Malaysian only.

I see there’s a huge potential in Facebook games and application. And as I said earlier, it’s not just about profit, its having a community that shares the same passion. People might say we are opportunist, because we make profit from others sympathy and passion, we say “I need money to feed my children”.

First, this is not the out of the world technology that we are talking at. Its a flash based game intented to be played at facebook. The only thing that makes it different is the creativity and the good cause that serves as a blanket for the game. Seriuos, nothing extravaganza, no 3D, CGI technique, its a plain piece of game on flash. Period.

I’m positive about things especially in business. Maybe i’m doing ok now because I’m actually riding the wave. But technology change very fast. I can’t predict what is goig to happen in a 5 years time. But my strategy is to be flexible. The idea must be flexible, the team must be flexible, the plaform, the business model, they must be flexible. Otherwise I’m going to keep on repairing a sinking boat. And I’m sure I’m not going to do that.

Generating an idea has much to do with your daily routine and also your experience. There are times when we feel that we could improve something, and that something is what we always use. Take Wonderpet for example, its not a 3D cartoon..and heck its not even a normal 2D cartoon either! But the most important thing is message that is being delivered. So, the best part of the idea is not the fancy look and the high end technology, but it’s the message and the content.

An idea is important, sharing the idea with the correct person is also important. Yes, you can keep your idea to yourself and you can secretly work the idea on your basement, but at the end of the day, is that what you really want?

Socialising is another way to get idea. No man is an island for himself.

My advice for wannabe Contentpreneur is Get a life!!! Hahaha!! Ok, o.k. 2 cent advice is don’t think outside of the box. Everybody knows that, and heck there are lot of people are doing the same thing. What you really need to is tear the box, cut it into pieces and burn it. In layman English, just do the damn thing!
